Its like "Well I am gay, so I am not going to be governor anymore." I know there are many more facts going on in this story, but it's a shame. muzikchick Posted August 13 Author Report Share Posted August 13 unfortunately, there is more to his story that simply being gay, other scandles tied up with him....I don't think the gay thing woulda ended his career, it's the other stuff.yeah, letting it out in his early 40's?? I would imagine it was a MAJOR relief....ahhh Catholic guilt, brutal preaching there....haunts for life, I understand. I am happy he opened up...just too bad the other stuff messed him up.
