nyckitty69 Posted August 27 Report Share Posted August 27 can anyone explain why they are allowing more and more professionals in a tournament whose basis was for amateurs? I think it is so unfair.. i thought the olympics committee would ban professionals since it goes against it's very foundation.what really bothers me are athletes who win gold as amateurs...then the million $$ endorsements come thru and they are corrupted.. the object then becomes winning gold for endorsements rather than representing their nation.i'm not trying to say anything against athletes who win, and i think it's fantastic for usa to win and represent, but seriously... what are professionals doing in the tournament? kaysersoze 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
