This Thursday I join Chris Thorpe & Jon Win on the decks at 33 for this new night. Chris & Jon come out here from Western MA to deliver the proper house beats, in the downstairs lounge of 33. Last week was the first time they threw this event, and I had the chance to check it out. When I got there I was pleased to find Boston’s own Geogre Nessis on the decks, the music was thumping, there was a nice crowd there dancing, and the sound in the room was very crisp and clean with the right amount of kick. This is a no-cover night, casual dress, and it's really about solid underground house music. For those that haven't been to 33, it's a Restaurant/Lounge in Back Bay, near Copley Sq. with laving decor, and an intimate atmosphere.
