robken2000
Got this e-mail, thought I should share:Lovers of electronic dance music! This election year is counting on you to “Rave-The-Vote†and turn out in record numbers supporting George W. Bush! The Democrats have been waging their War-On-Dance over the last several years, by introducing many laws targeted to stop your right to attend dance music events. Many promoters, DJs, and record labels have gone out of business due to their legislative actions. If you wonder: “What happened to the scene?†you can thank the Democrats for legislating it into the state it is in today. Many rave and nightclub promoters have gone out of business due to their legislation. It's time to put your vote where your heart is, stand up for individual freedom and stop the Democrats’ right-grabbing madness! This year’s presidential election looks to be a close one, and it’s important for you to get out the vote for George W Bush and Republican representatives. The Democrats for many years have been trying to portray themselves as a party more in line with the dance music community, but their actions have spoken much louder than their words. Their “words†have turned out to be only lies and misinformation. Some Democratic senators have even been campaigning at dance music events! Don’t let the Democrats fool you and stab us in the back again. If you want the government to keep their hands off your right to dance, and you support the freedoms of small business owners such as promoters and DJs, then the Republican Party is the party for you!Democratic legislation attacking your rights to assemble and dance:(From: www.senate.gov)The "RAVE" Act was originally introduced during the 107th Congress by Democrat Senator Joe Biden. However, one problem we are currently facing nationwide involves so-called "club drugs" and raves. Ecstasy Awareness Act of 2003 (H.
