Nick named "Mr. Funky" by club goers throughout the land, Philadelphia's premier club DJ/personality, Mike Alba has been the MAIN attraction of Saturdays at Emerald City since it's inception and has created a weekly club extravaganza second to none in the Delaware Valley. Alba has combined an infinite passion for music, high energy showmanship, and the uncanny ability to touch and move a crowd to create the ultimate dance experience. His vibrant personality, gift of unstoppable gab and relentless styles of house and tribal music are also

the sounds of Club Underground Live, Emerald City's pioneering weekly Live radio program (1360 AM, Clubundergroundlive.com) which broadcast's Alba's Emerald City show live every Saturday Night into the late night and setting the bar even higher as the city's most popular weekly resident.

Having performed with and along side of many of the areas and worlds top DJs/Producers such as TommyBoy/MacGuyver, Robbie Tronco, Chris Costanzo, Phillp Charles and Donato, as well as Timo Maas, The Scumfrog, Jazzy Jeff, Junior Vasquez, and Marco V., Mike Alba is currently in the studio working on tracks for his upcoming debut record release slated for national club and radio release in 2005 with a sneak peak of Alba's first single letting loose on Nov. 20, 2004 at Emerald City's 2nd Anniversary gala event honoring the Funky one himself!
