Phil Collins “In The Air Tonight 2005†White SPA 12 – PC1, dark brooding tribal-tinged progressive reworking of this classic track with hooks of the original vocal worked into the production.

Kiki Dee “I Got The Music In Me 2005†White GER 12 – White label from Germany by the Boogie Pimps with the entire original vocal and instrumental line fro this classic 70s track reworked in their funky breaky tech tinged style. Includes a dubbier version on the flip. Massive is an understatement. Catalog Number is WHITE018.

Faithless “Why Go 2005†White ENG 12 – Hoxton Whores rework of this late-90s hit from Faithless that featured Boy George on vocals.

Brian Ferry “Let’s Stick Together 2005†White ENG 12 – SFB remix of this classic track in a chunky funky electrohouse style with hooks of the original vocal worked into the production. STCK2GVA001.

Jurassic 5 “Concrete Schoolyard†White ENG 12 – VR001, bootleg reworking with a bootleg reworking of A Guy Called Gerald “Voodoo Ray†on the flip.

Chaka Khan “I’m Every Woman 2005†White ENG 12 - Latest in the Avenue Series, this time around vocal and instrumental hooks of Chaka Khan's "I'm Every Woman" are worked into a driving dark bigroom production. On the flip is a chunky, techy rewoking of The Caesars "Jerk It Out" which was recently featured in an I-Pod commercial.

Kings Of Tomorrow vs Alex Neri “Finally House Music†White SPA 12 – bootleg that layers the vocal of ‘Finally†over the chunky funky instrumental of Alex Neri. EBTAN01.

New Order “Blue Monday 2005†White GER 12 Part 2 – 014WG99, dark chunky tech house reworking of the classic with the original vocal and instrumentation worked into the production.

Paul van Dyk “For An Angel 2005†White ENG 12 – WHIPPED1, Robert Healey reworking of the trance classic.

House

Afrika Bambaataa “B More Shake 2005†Tommy Boy USA 12 – New mixes of this Afrika Bambaataa track with FC Nord providing the dark tribal circuit interpretation that mateches perfectly with the growly male vocal hooks, while Marcos Carnaval provides a vocal and dub with a Latin tinge.

Bass Spankerz “Positively†Spanked ENG 12 – Chunky techhouse with a smooth disco tinge and hooky female vocals worked into the production.

Inaya Day “Lift It Up†Tommy Boy USA 12 Part 2 and C5 – Second set of mixes on the latest single from La Inaya, with this disc featuring a massive circuit reworking from Pier Pressure and a more disco-influenced rework from Foundation House. CD-Maxi has all the mixes from part 1 and part 2.

DJ Pierre “Nobody But You†DJP ENG 12 – Two seductive garage cuts with a smooth female vocals, shuffly rhythm lines and flowing mid-tempo house synth orchestrations. Includes a slightly chunkier Wild Pitch mix on the flip.

Cevin Fisher “Boost Your Metabolism†Ggressive USA 12 – New label here with a dark, driving tech-tribal fusion production from the veteran Cevin Fisher. Chunky rhythm lines, growly spoken vocals and energetic house synth orchestrations in both cuts on the vinyl.

Lenny Fontana f/Octavia “The Way†MS GER 12 – Gorgeous vocal garage cut from Lenny Fontana with Octavia’s seductive vocals gliding over Fontana’s smooth, seductive house orchestrations. Includes full vocal and dub versions.

Kentish Man “She’s An Easy Lover†Superior GER 12 – Commerical edition of what started life as a bootleg of Phil Collins. Now the vocal has been resung and a new techy disco mix has been provided on the flip but still a solid cover of a classic track in the Prydzesque style.

Kobbe & Austin Leeds f/Alan T “15 Minutes†Presslab ITA 12 – Alan T provides the salacious spoken vocals over this hard, aggressive tribal-tech circuit monster perfect for the fans of the *69 sound. Driving rhythm lines and powerful synth orchestrations blend with the vocal perfectly, with both full vocal and dub versions provided.

Medcab “Dance†Heavy Disco ENG 12 – Solid funky disco-tinged house production with a seductive female vocal with a classic house reworking provided by Mohito and chunkier, techier reworkings from Young Punx and Metalheadz.

Major Boys f/Kathy Brown “Time Again†No 2 Records FRA 12 Part 2 – New reworking by Junior Jack of this solid vocal house production with La Brown’s stellar vocal given an energy boost by Junior Jack’s trademark techy disco production. Includes both full vocal and dub versions.

New Order “Krafty†Warner USA 2x12 – Latest single from the veteran UK act, those seductive vocals are given several different platforms as DJ Dan, Eric Kupper, Morel and Riton all provide mixes in styles ranging from techy progressive to electrohouse. Already climbing the Billboard Club Play chart, and for fans of recent singles such as “Crystal,†this is very much in the same vein.

Pray For More “Breaking Away†Con Brio ENG 12 Promo – ATFC and 7th District provide the mixes on this stunning classic disco-tinged house production with a massive female vocal the real star of the show. Perfect for an upcoming Hed Kandi compilation, the mixes convey the carefree clubbing of the upcoming summer season perfectly.

Smog “Groove Life†Stop & Go ITA 12 – Opus’ classic “Live Is Life†is covered in this bouncy Italian commercial house production full of energy and punch. Uplifiting rhythm lines and energetic house synth work to get the crowd bouncing, with a darker, more tribal oriented reworking on the flip. Fun, festive production.

Trance & Progressive

Jose Amnesia vs Fedo “I Need You†Kyr BNX 12 – Gorgeous deeper trance production with a stunning female vocal over seductive waves of melodic synth and smooth, steady rhythm lines. Includes both a full vocal and dub version.

Gadjets “Revelation†ELP GER 12 – Excellent tech-tinged progressive house production with seductive synth waves balanced by energetic rhythm lines and a haunting male vocal that is becoming more common in the progressive scene today. Harder, techier reworking by Hertz on the flip.

Klubbheads “Turn Up The Bass 2005†DNA BNX 12 – Classic Hard Dance anthem from the late 1990s getting an update for 2005 here with a fresher synth orchestration that does not remove any of the punchy power of the original. Two new mixes as well as the long out of print original included.

Lovesky f/Michael Simone “Runaway†Curve USA 12 – Billboard Club chart track getting a commercial release here as haunting male vocals are caressed by seductive progressive house orchestrations. Remixes from Wally Lopez, Chris Fortier and Vinny Troia provide new interpretations on the basic theme. Solid release that is not the typical progressive house production.

Marcos “Summer Solstice†Vandit GER 12 – Paul van Dyk’s imprint releasing this stunning bigroom instrumental trancer with lots of intricate melodic orchestrations, seductive rhythm lines and dramatic breakdowns and buildups. Remix by Vini on the flip.

NuNRG “Dreamland†Monster Tunes ENG 12 Part 1 and Part 2 – Best of the British instrumental trancers this week featuring stunning melodic orchestrations of the highest caliber. Disc one features the original and a remix by Gareth Emery, while disc two features remixes by G&M Project and Adam Sheridan.

Visior & Dark Moon “Hidden Sun†Breeze GER 12 – Massive German instrumental trance production with tons of energy, driving rhythm line and massive waves of melodic synth that break down and build up into hand-raising crescendos of energy. Remix on the flip from Mind One smooths the production, giving the track a more Dutch feel.
