In addition to being a recent Godskitchen resident, Jason has also held high profile residencies at venues such as Avalon (NYC), Centro-Fly, Filter 14, and the Roxy and continues to grace the decks of NYC’s top clubs like Spirit, Ikon, Avalon and Crobar. These opportunities have considerably elevated Jason's status as a DJ and have allowed him to form a tight bond with many of the future leaders in the underground house scene.

Being considered among New York City's top progressive house dj's is no easy feat, and Jason Jollins has accomplished this by consistently delivering high quality sets with each given opportunity. Jason Jollins started DJ'ing during the late 80's. Initially spinning freestyle and house music, he continued to cultivate his DJ skills through the early nineties, embracing his love and talent for the art. He is now known for highly technical sets consisting of flawless mixing and programming while displaying a great sound of diversity through genres of house, trance, and breaks.

Inspired by Sasha & Digweed's first set at Twilo, Jason decided to launch his professional career in 1997. Since then, he has had the privilege of playing alongside world renowned DJs such as Sasha, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, Steve Lawler, Lee Burridge, Chris Fortier, Hybrid, Juan Atkins, Armin Van Buuren, Hernan Cattaneo, Nu Nrg, Oscar G, Anthony Pappa, Darren Emerson, Ferry Corsten, Max Graham, and many others. For six months in 2004, Jason held a weekly residency for the Godskitchen Events at Ikon (NYC) (formerly Exit). In the past, Jason has held high profile residencies at venues such as Avalon (NYC), Centro-Fly, Filter 14, and the Roxy and has graced the decks of NYC’s top clubs. These opportunities have considerably elevated Jason's status as a DJ and have allowed him to form a tight bond with many of the future leaders in the underground house scene.

Jason’s record label, Acute Recordings, is one of the hottest new labels coming out of the United States. Launched in 2002, Acute has successfully released tracks from emerging artists including Nacca, Jas/Chonga, Pat Foosheen, Habersham, Smight, MOS, OMB, and Plastique Vision (aka Lega, Hawaii). Each release has been charted on the prestigious Balance Promote record pool chart, have created buzz in magazines such as Lotus & Mixer, and have seen reviews on several online media sources. Acute Recordings had the 8th top selling progressive house release for three weeks straight in Europe in December of 2003 while the latest release on Acute was ranked #1 on the prestigious Balance Promote record pool chart. Over the past few years, Jason has been putting a great emphasis on his own production work. In 2005 he will release several original tracks, ranging in sound from deep tech house to peak-time progressive house.

This year, Jason will continue to tour around the country and globally while releasing the quality tracks that fans have come to expect from Acute Recordings. Jason's diligent work and sacrifices have not gone unnoticed; his passion for music continues to inspire him while his profile continues to rise.
