Blue Pearl “Naked In The Rain 2005†White ENG 12 – 21AVE, latest in the series with hooks of the vocal and instrumentation worked in the Avenue/Streets style. B-side is a similar-style reworking of the Isley Brothers “Summer Breeze 2005â€

Laura Branigan “Self Control 2005†White GER 12 – ER001, Vincent Thomas mix in a Vinylshakers/Royal Gigolo style with the full original vocal worked into the production.

Depeche Mode “Blasphemous Rumours 2005†White USA 12 – PJAC1 Paranoid Jack reworking in a dark, driving tech-progressive style.

The KLF “What Time Is Love 2005†Blaou GER 12 – Commerical reworking by Ricardo Villalobos mix in a deep, deconstructed minimal tech house style. Sparse orchestrations with occasional hooks of the original worked in.

Miami Sound Machine “Conga 2005†White GER 12 – energetic upper-130s BPM hard dance reworking with the full original vocal and much of the original instrumentation worked into the production. SCHRANZ024

Primal Scream “Get Ya Rocks Off 2005†White ENG 12 – ROCKS001, ATFC with a massive bigroom tech-tinged house reworking of this indierock classic. Includes full vocal mix on one side and a dub mix on the flip. Excellent bootleg, highly recommended.

Shades Of Love vs CLS “Can You Feel My Body†White FRA 12 – Philippe B bootleg with the instrumental from Shades Of Love “Body To Body†supporting vocal samples from CLS “Can You Feel It.†PAINTBALL001

Snoop Dogg “Drop It Like It’s Hot 2005†White GER 12 – miminal tech house reworking with hooks of the vocal blended into the production. LUXA001

Danny Tenaglia vs Laurent Garnier “The Man With The Red Elements†ENG 12 – mashup that takes the instrumentation from Laurent Garnier and adds the male spoken vocal form Danny Tenaglia’s “Elements.†RED12071

Unknown “Let’s Get Together†White ENG 12 – DISCOBALL6, latest in this series with an Antoine Clamaran mix in his trademark techy discohouse style, with a more purely disco version on the flip.

Van Halen “Ain’t Talkling About Love 2005†White GER 12 – VKTD007, driving tech house reworking based on the guitar riff of this classic Van Halen track. No vocal samples from the original, though some female vocals are worked in.

House

Bananarama “Really Saying Something 2005†AATW ENG 2x12 Promo – One of the first singles Bananarama ever did (as a duet with Fun Boy 3) gets updated for the new millenium into a fun, bouncy summertime house production. Full original vocals worked into a range of mixes from Solasso's sunny Italian-style house interpretation to a funky mix from Kenny Hayes to breakbeat. Limited promo edition, commercial release not until later this summer.

Bon Garcon “Freek U†Eye ENG 12 Part 1, Part 2 and C5 – Funky hip-house production with a seductive female vocal and a hooky eastern-influenced orchestrations. Disc 1 features a chunky house mix from Full Intention while disc 2 has mixes from Seamus Haji and Kurtish Mantronix. CD-Maxi has all.

Danzel “Put Your Hands Up†541 BNX 12 – Latest single from the former contestant on the Belgian equivalent of American Idol is a cover of the Black & White Brothers classic. Bouncy fun summertime party house track with no pretentiousness whatsoever in the production.

DJ DLG “The Drums†Finetune FRA 12 – Dark driving tribal monster from France with massive power and energy behind the intricate orchestration of rhythm patterns.

FM Sound “Copacabana (Theme From Austin Powers)†Stop & Go ITA 12 – Fun, carefree Italian houser which uses the instrumentation from the theme to the Austin Powers movies and integrated it into a bouncy orchestration with hooky vocals worked in.

Fatboy Slim “El Bebe Masoquista†Skint ENG 12 Promo – X-Press 2 and Jupiter Ace reworking the latest single from the veteran British DJ with X-Press 2 going for a powerful electrotech interpretation, while Jupiter Ace focus on a more disco-tinged tech production. Both mixes feature the twisted male vocal from the original.

Gus Gus “David 2005†Stereo 7 ITA 12 – New summery 2005 house mix from the Beginnerz that integrates the haunting female vocal into a seductive midtempo house produtionc. On the flip is a chunky reworking of "Call Of The Wild" by Monteca.

Geri Halliwell “Desire†EMI ENG C5 – Latest single from La Geri is another big, bouncy pop production with club mixes coming from Shanghai Surprise and Bimbo Jones that capture the fun feeling of the original perfectly.

Jerry & Denis “I Get What I Want†Milk & Sugar GER 12 – Jerry Ropero and Denis The Menace returning to the Milk & Sugar label with a massive diva-powered disco-tinged house production with tons of attitude and energy. Includes both a full vocal and a dub verison.

Jjah “Dancin With You†Body Music USA 12 – Gorgeous garage vocal house cut produced by Ron Carroll with a sultry female vocal over warm seductive synth orchestrations and shuffly rhythm lines. Includes a dub verison on the flip.

Mendo “Tell Me 2005†Groove On USA 12 – Armand Pena with solid bigroom house reworkings on this old number with dark, driving rhyhtms and energetic house synth orchestrations to support the powerful female vocal. Includes a dub on the flip.

Tony Moran “Live You All Over†Tommy Boy USA 12 Part 2 and C5 - massive new single from Mr Moran gets a second set of mixes, with a techy-progressive reworking from D Formation and a dark, driving tribal mix from Gomi. CD-Maxi has these and the Original and Offer Nissim mixes from part 1 a couple weeks back.

Murk “Doesn’t Really Matter†Tommy Boy USA C5 – massive new single from the masters of Miami tribal. Great female vocal to energize the crowds and rmixes come from Friscia and Lamboy and Cedric Gervais. So far only the CD Maxi with 3 12" mixes is out, vinyl expected in either for this coming week or the following week.

One Hit Wonder “Grace Of God†White ENG 12 – cover of Machine's disco classic in a smooth summery disco-house style with the famous vocal line worked effortlessly into the producution. Three mixes.

Peter Presta “O'Rox Som More†White ENG 12 Promo – Victor Calderone mix on this limited promo featurning hooks from an old house anthem worked into into Calderone's trademark dark driving bigroom house production.

Soul Shaker “Hypnotic Erotic Games†Gusto ENG 2x12 Promo– Stunning mid-tempo vocal house production with a seductive female vocal worked into classic house orchestrations. Promo packs from Gusto include the full vocal mix and two dubbier versions.

Stereo Mutants “Tropical Rain†Defected ENG 12 – Smooth seductive Latin-infused midtempo instrumental production here from Defected perfect for the poolside parties with a deeper Balearic mix on the flip.

System F “Cry 2005†Tsunami BNX 12 – Anthem from back in the late 90s getting an update here that includes a new tech-tinged house mix from Grooveline that melds the massive female vocal into an energetic Junior Jack-influenced orchestration.

Trance & Progressive

Beat Control “Amnesia†Sun GER 12 – Gorgeous Teutonic anthemic trance production with waves of melodic synth, driving rhythms and subtle spoken vocal hooks worked into the production. Three mixes included.

Killa Hurtz “Kiss For The Dying†Audio Therapy ENG 12 Part 1 Part 2 – Haunting new single from the producers of the classic "West On 27th" with a seductive progressive orchestration and haunting male vocal. Disc 1 features two mixes from the act themselved while disc 2 has a funky breaks rework from Hybrid.

Reflekt “Need To Feel Loved†Vandit GER 12 – Released a few months back on Positiva, this stunning vocal trance number is now picked up by Paul Van Dyk's imprint and sports a stunning new trance reworking from Marc van Linden. Also includes the original and the Seb Fontaine mix.

System F “Cry 2005†Tsunami BNX 12 – One new trance mix from DJ Shah on this reworking of Ferry's big anthem from a few years back. Driving waves of melodic synthwork and energetic rhyhtm lines complement the massive vocal perfectly in this new mix.

Armin van Buuren “Shivers†Supra GER 12 – New Germany-only mixes from Alex Morph on this massive release from Armin. Driving rhyhtms, massive melodic orchestrations, and the stunning vocal from Susana all blended perfectly. Includes both full vocal and dub versions from Alex MORPH.

Way Out West “Don’t Forget Me†Distinctive ENG 12 Part 1 and Part 2 - haunting new single from the veteran progressive production team with a light female vocal over their trademark haunting, delicate production. Disc one features the orignal and a remix by Hiroshi Watanabe mix Slam mix
