smallwonder Posted July 18 Report Share Posted July 18 OK, I love The L Word and Queer As Folk and just saw the pilot for a new show called "WEEDS" Has anyone heard of it yet?It's super-edgy, deep, and wickedly funny with an amazing cast that includes Mary-Louise Parker as a widowed pot dealing PTA mom and Elizabeth Perkins as her uptight and superficial friend. (I loved her in He said She said) I think we like these shows because they are true to life and not sanitized like alot of stuff on tv. WEEDS was created by Jenji Kohan who wrote for Friends, Sex and the City, and Will & Grace so you know we will probably all be hooked on WEEDS! No pun intended It starts Aug 7th!
