The August installment of the monthly "PsychedelicPowerPopElectroRockandRoll" Party features a special live performance by local electro rockers, Venue, who consists of Brock and Chris May of the Synesthesia cult.

As always, residents Trancid, Greg Corner from Kill Hannah, and mg. will provide the interim rock and beats.

Thank you to all who showed up for Traxx and Trancid's birthday party with Tommie Sunshine last month.

Genres can be a bit confining, right? So Tobias, Trancid (Synesthesia) and mg. (Blacklisted) created this "psychedelic power pow electro rock & roll party" to play the stuff nobdy else does, a mix of electro, new wave and Bauhaus-type stuff.

Tonight's guest of honor is Brillante Records band Venue (featuring Brock and Chris May of the Synesthesia cult) performing a live set of red hot electoro rock.

Greg Corner, Trancid and mg. spin while Panic Films plays with the video gear.

This monthly has really taken off, so expect a good chunk of the freak scene letting loose.

The joint has been packed but there's still extra cheap beer and iPod giveaways if you're on the fence about coming.
