Too many subgenres in my opinion.hallelujah! when the sub-genres 1st sprung up they were always tagged with the "house" suffix. techno-house, progressive-house, hard-house, don't ask me what happened. now were breaking off into sub-genres of sub-genres...ridiculous.back to the classics... depends on the dj. going from the old to the new and back again is an artform. most djs are trying to beat eachother buy supplying the "newest" music. stupid if you ask me. new music is very inspirational to me and i always do want the newest shit but i also consider that people that aren't constantly going out do want something they can relate to or that they have heard before.
