When I go to File->Open to type in a web address, it crashes."This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down" comes on.Same thing if I do Start->Run to open up a file.Detail says "Eplorer caused an invalid page fault in module SHDOCVW.DLL.....etcAny idea??? tyco Posted December 16 Report Share Posted December 16 Well, I am going to assume you're using Windows 98 cause only that OS does random shit like that, usually......if so, it's just another beautiful piece of work from Microsoft so really alll you should do is restart the computer.....actually, it's really all you can do as it's a bug in the system.......well, that's what it sounds like to me......if it's not Windows 98, the problem may be more severe.......just try restarting if you haven't already.Mikey------------------"If there are two of us, I will gladly bite it in half....."
