Everyone including the deephouse dj's are playing music that is influenced or infused with the sounds that are "electro". Anyway I say rock anything as long as it is good. I don't care what year or how far fetched if it makes sense and keeps you in the groove go for it. Robbie is not exactly my style of electro but I would check him out if I could.
