Olympics-Curling-Sex it up please, we're Canadian curlers

TURIN, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Rock 'n' roll and curling aren't usual bedfellows

but Brad Gushue, Canada's youngest skip, is attracting the kind of fans to

make Mick Jagger proud.

Gushue, 25, has jumped into the limelight in the world's biggest curling

nation since his team trounced four-times world champion Randy Ferbey's team

to win a place at the Turin Games.

"They're treating us like rock stars and we're loving every minute of it,"

Gushue told reporters on Thursday.

And his fans may do more than scream if Team Gushue lives up to expectations

and sweeps the gold.

"I did once have bras and underwear thrown at me, but not in the last 6-8

weeks," he grinned.

CURLING UPDATE:

The U.S. Women are deadlocked in a back and forth match vs. Norway right now half way through the match. The U.S. looked to be in good shape to steal a point or two on the last end, but two errant throws (she had way too much weight on that stone. That rock didn't curl at all), let Norway in the door to take 3 on their end. The 5th end is just starting now.

And I'm sure you all saw that the U.S. Mens squad beat the defending world champs Noraway in a huge upset earlier today. Having a huge last end where the U.S. took 5 stones, the team embarrassed Norway 11 - 5. They're looking forward to their match against the savvy Fins later tonight (live coverage at 5pm I believe).

Oh, and the U.S. women's team... HOT.
