ROLLAND ESSRoland Skreslet (aka Rolland Ess) grew up on the North Shore of Massachusetts, and from an early age became in touch with the world of sound. At the age of twelve, Roland took his first trip to one of the ever popular "house parties" that inhabited the 90's. It was at this party; held in a small apartment located near the Mass Art campus, that Roland witnessed the art of the dj. Blessed to be apart of an underground movement such as this, the night featured local great talents such as Al Foogie, Crisco, and Osheen. From this night on, Roland knew he was on to something huge. Something he would live and love for the rest of his life.Setting it off at Vision nightclub in Saugus, MA is where Roland's voyage truly begins. Always on the cutting edge of new sounds and styles, Roland has always been an "against the grain" kind of guy. Passing up various gigs and parties to stay true to his own beliefs and tastes, Roland has always stood his ground. With an ever growing history of promotional teams and nights, Roland refuses to be held back. He's appeared all over the New England area including such venues as Umbria/El' Panino, Club Q, Vertigo, Paradise, Tabu/Vision, Rise, Phoenix Landing, McGann's, and Red Door. With his devotion constant and his talent evolving, Rolland Ess is bound to be a house hold name. Falling into the genres of deep, funky, and Chicago house, as well as dabling into some downtempo and mushroom jazz, Roland has a style purely of his own creation. With the future in mind and the present in focus, this artist's on a mission for success. Recently signing on with Marz Entertainment, Roland has taken yet another step in the right direction.
