We have exerted every effort to make sure that all of the details were covered and confirmed before we shared this with you. We have spent hours trying to come up with best way to let you know thatYOU SPOKE! WE LISTENED! WE'RE GOING HOME! You were there when we started in 1991 on Hubert Street. You were there when we moved to 27th Street. You were there when we moved back to Hubert Street and remained loyal on 39th Street. The unwavering support of our endearing "heads" has resulted in crowning Shelter as the longest running dance party in New York City. Without your devotion, there would be no Shelter. We are eternally grateful to you for your part in this experience.Shelter is going home. Shelter is going to a place where we can be ourselves. Shelter is going back downtown.And that said, our last party on 39th Street will be Saturday, February 25, 2006.
