DJ JAGGI'S BIO

Originally from India, DJ Jaggi has established himself as an important member of the Direct Drive collective in NYC. Jaggi discovered his passion for spinning records while living in Italy. His appreciation for all genres of music led him to co-found a weekly party catering to Tech House, Big Beat, and Hip Hop every Thursday night at the renowned Full Up club in Florence. Upon arriving in NYC, Jaggi began fine-tuning his skills on the turntables, incorporating multiple dance genres and styles in his record bag. In particular he is known for harvesting a unique blend of Dub/Tribal/Indian influenced Jungle and Drum & Bass. Currently he is a resident of The Pond on Jungletrain.net, handling all bookings for the show on a weekly basis. DJ Jaggi continues to play regularly alongside Direct Drive residents DJ Seoul and Burner Brothers, while opening for some of the scene's finest producers including Moving Fusion, Stakka, A-Sides, Outrage and Raw Q.
