Cocoon Presents Sven Väth, Tiefschwarz, Loco Dice and James Holden!

German DJ/musician Sven Väth is truly one of the driving forces behind modern electronic music. Sven Vath’s DJ career began at the tender age of 18 and has gained international status playing venues from Ibiza to Paris to Germany. His name is inseparable from the German club scene, being one of the pioneers in techno with his landmark albums “Accident in Paradise”, “The Harlekin”, “The Robot”, as well as “The Ballet Dancer”. His label, Harthouse, is responsible for unleashing many highly creative artists, including SpiceLab, Hardfloor, and Speedy J. As a DJ, his legendary marathon sets have received acclaim around the world. In addition, Vath creates his own innovative music.Tiefschwarz was formed in 1996 by two brothers – Ali and Basti Schwarz – who have been successful DJs for over a decade. Peter Hoff, who runs the Benztown studios in Stuttgart, completes the Tiefschwarz production team. Ali and Basti came up with the name for their project after a DJ gig. Tiefschwarz, which is German for 'deep black', is a mixture of their last name, Schwarz, and their love for deep house. Tiefschwarz have remixed around 30 tracks for artists such as Ultra Naté, Byron Stingily, Jam & Spoon, Jennifer Paige, Randy Crawford, Master At Work, Earth Wind and Fire, Shakatak, Mousse T., AWA band, Whirlpool prod., Sabrina Johnson and Sharon Philips. Tunisian born, German based DJ Loco Dice spins very sexy and crowd pleasing house music. His tribal funky, baseline driven sets have landed him gigs at the best clubs in Ibiza, Europe, South America and in the US. James Holden has established himself as one of the pillars of the dance music community, having an impact of which many an older producer and DJ can but dream. The demand for James as a DJ has grown, with the knowledge that his DJing skills are equal to his production. He continues to develop touring Europe and the UK regularly.

On the Terrace, don’t miss the Balance CD Series Event with Desyn Masiello, Paolo Mojo and Chris Fortier.
