sheendawg
You all have to help me. I am sitting here completely grief-stricken because I have waited MONTHS AND MONTHS for this track and when I finally get it, I realize that it's NOT THE FUCKING SONG!!!The song that I have in mind, and I'm going to try to be as specific as possible, is like this: At the start of the track, it's very still, a low murmuring of a bassline building up - you know that quiet but loud electronic buzz? I almost want to say I heard birds chirping too! And THEN a woman starts singing in a trill, lilting, tribal chant of sorts, continuing that way for about a minute or two. Then the bassline drops, rumbling and galloping throughout the rest of the track and it is FIYAH. The woman keeps up with the intermittent chanting but it becomes more of a guttural moan. There's a breakdown in the middle (clattering of various drums) and I simply can't rest until I have it! It is reminiscent of Bob Sinclair's Slave Nation in terms of the melody and how the song begins with the flute before the beat drops. I love it.The last time I heard it was at Spirit and I could have SWORN that Danny was talking about Dibiza at the time and the crowd went CRAZY. But am I mistaken, is this a wrong version or what? Thanks in advance!

rayrays69
The real fake Dibiza was:Smike & Aleix - Guarentee (Solar mix)Track is a bomb, and is 1000 times better than the real Dibiza. It was going around for a while, I must have had at least 20 people hit me up, and be like: "Yo i got it!!!!!!, Dibiza."and it always turned out to be Guarentee

sheendawg
Apparently, I'm looking for something that I THOUGHT was Dibiza but is not. Not to say that it isn't a nice track, but as Ray Ray said, the one I have in mind IS 1000 times better. Everytime I see that avatar, I start cracking UP! Ugh! Thanks, Eddie! I'm on Soulseek now. Thank you ALL! I'll report my findings shortly!
