Moonshine holiday brunch feat. DJ 8, Chris Gin and Tommy T.

On Sunday, July 2, Moonshine will be the place to be for an all-day celebration of music and life. Nate Manic’s amazing and popular funk and soul brunch will feature a guest appearance from DJ 8 (better known as Seth to his friends) spinning both rare and forward-thinking downtempo funk. The turntables will then be turned over to your friendly neighborhood DJ/author CHRIS GIN and special guest TOMMY T, who will keep the beats flowing until 3pm.

Tommy has been a great friend for a long time, and is one of New York City’s most veteran resident DJs. He’s one of those guys that may not be a star but plays everywhere all the time…I’m sure you know someone like that. It’s always a blast to play house with one of NYC’s finest, and Moonshine is basically one of the most comfortable spots around. All this should make for agreat combination, so come on through if you can and say hello. You might end up staying a while.

Moonshine presents an all-day extravaganza featuring DJ 8, CHRIS GIN and TOMMY T.

Keep the holiday weekend going at Moonshine by enjoying an all-day lineup of turntable talent. Kicking off the funk and soul brunch is DJ 8, former resident at the legendary Simon’s in Gainesville. He’ll be playing sultry downtempo to complement the bloody mary bar and killer brunch menu. Chris Gin and New York’s Tommy T. will follow with a funhouse full of beats through the afternoon. Moonshine’s huge outdoor patio is always packed and brunch is huge, so come early and stay all day!
