And now, the Strokes -- whose latest release, First Impressions of Earth, takes the group's sound to a tighter, more energetic level -- are headed to South Florida, taking the stage at 8 p.m. Sept. 24 at Club Cinema in Pompano Beach. Tickets ($30) go on sale at 5 p.m. today.
