SATURDAY JUNE 10TH - NYC, RANDALLS ISLAND - 2PM TO 12AM

6th Element: Chapter 7: The Dawning, will be the largest open-air festival

ever on the east coast. The all-day event will feature five sound systems,

thirty global shamans and ten live performances. Each area or "stream"

will host a unique style and flavor of its own, uniting different genres

of electronic culture in one magical space. This will be the not-to-miss

In the first stream, the 4th Dimension, Sandra Collins, Rabbit In The

Moon, Bassbin Twins, Hybrid, Donald Glaude, Dave Ralph, Liquid Todd,

Afrika Bambaataa and the Star Sound Orchestra will be performing. There

will also be an appearance by legendary graffiti artist SEEN, as he bombs

the main stage.

Stream two, the Bass Experience, will host a number of the greatest names

in Drum & Bass today including Mickey Finn, Trace, Freaky Flow & MC

Flipside, Aphrodite, Kool DJ Herc and Spitfire.

House music's brightest heroes will be spinning in Stream 3, House

Happening. Helming the wheels of steal will be Kevin Yost, Tony

Humphries, Erick Morillo, Scotty Marz, Miss Honey Dijon & Justin Johnson.

Put your mind and body at easy in Stream 4, Chill Out City. Relax to the

sounds of some of today greatest sonic shamans including Yaniv, Perry

Farrell, Three Point Turn, Dado/Trancewave, Medicine Drum, Michael Dog,

Organic Grooves, Mixmaster Morris, Clark Warner and India Drop.

Stream 5 will be a Limited Access area hosting the sounds of the finest

DJ talent in the NY underground. Manning the decks will be Mark Ronson,

Billy Shane, Mark Kamins, Holmar Flipsson, A. Gram, Mike Sike and Matt

Guess.

Cultural Alchemy's Soundlab will host stream 6, the Nth Degree. Soundlab

is a full sensory immersion electronic media jam. It will be an evening in

the electrotectural -- a laboratory atmosphere in beat-per-minute and

tribal affiliation. Multi-faceted artists Singe & Verb will create this

experience.
