Here they return to Addiction Digital in absolute style with two huge hard trance cuts. Lead track ‘Give It Up’ features a distinctive diva sample laid over some tough euphoric riffs with deliciously groovy percussion, whilst the darker ‘Movin’ On’ accentuates the shuffled groove but delivers an absolutely killer breakdown. The future is certainly orange for this pair! Jason Cortez, M8 Magazine Review, Score: M7/M8 Hailing from Norway, the Adrenaline Department having been consistently churning out high octane hard-dance throughout 2006. This EP, yet again showcases their distinct sound, that as always is packed with energy and feel good factor. First up is ‘Give It Up’, an energy packed track, with skippy percussion and pumping bassline, the track has a distinct old skool hard-house feel. This combined with a simple yet effective female vocal and hand rising riff make for a sure fire floor filler! Next up is ‘Movin On’, combining very similar elements as ‘Give It Up’, it’s a slightly slower affair, with a bubbling acid line, and building hard-trance stabs. The track builds into the breakdown where a more emotional take on things is employed, with atmospheric strings leading you into the main riff, which as you’d expect has energy to spare. A great release from one of the best digital hard-dance labels around!
