libyagirl
hey, ravermania. that is one awesome place to grow up. why were you there? or more like what were your parents doing there? i camped out in the middle of the mokolodi nature reserves and walked miles and miles to the highway every morning to hitchhike into Gaborone. volunteering my services at the princess marina hospital. then i would hike miles and miles back to my camp ground. it was one amazing experience.[This message has been edited by libyagirl (edited 08-15-2000).]

kramadas
We were initially in Zambia (the CA - Chartered Accountants - agency sent ppl over every once in a while, and my Dad worked with them). My Dad then got a job in Selebi-Phikwe in '83 and we've been there ever since. God, just writing this brings back sooo many memories. Things have changed quite a bit...a lot of growth has taken place. Ah, now I'm home-sick!Thats so amazing what you did! I really admire you for volunteering your services to the hospital. When were you there (what year) and how long? Did you have any interesting run-ins with anything? If you want, my e-mail is krish_ramadas@yahoo.com...drop me a line sometime, I'd like to hear your stories!
