There are some things going on this summer that are going to be a lot cooler than the temperature. Take Johnny V South Beach's new Cuba-Cue, a monthly Cuban-style barbecue kicking off at 7 p.m. Thursday. Says chef Johnny Vinczencz, ''Cooking outside is one of the great joys and benefits of living in South Florida. With Cuba-Cue, I wanted to give locals a laid-back but stylish spot to get some great barbecue, kick back with a drink and listen to live music.'' While you're basking in the A/C all day, Vinczencz will be slow-cooking pork in the Cuban caja china, a wooden cooking box covered with burning coals. In addition to the pork, he'll serve sides including black beans, rice and tostones, all at $10 per person, per plate. Specialty cocktails such as the Caribbean Cowboy Cocktail and classic mojitos will set you back only $5. The Cuba-Cue will take place the third Thursday of each month throughout the summer.
