Germany’s hottest live act on the electro-house music scene are Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier, also known as “Booka Shade.†After touring in Europe, South America, London, Rio de Janeiro, Asia and Australia, Boston will get a chance to hear one of the most innovative and moving live acts to date. Booka Shade will make a stop at Mansion Boston on August 3, 2007, as a part of the new “Resurrection†on Friday nights. This night will be brought to you by Taste Productions, a production company dedicated to pushing forward thinking, cutting edge music in Boston. The soaring bass lines and epic melodies, slow motion hip-hop, electro and chilled Balearic house music will reverberate around one of Boston's most beautiful and elegant nightclubs, while guests can enjoy bottle services at one of the club's twelve VIP tables.

Booka Shade has released two albums, “Memento†in 2004 and “Movements†in 2006, which have gone on to be remixed and rejoined with songs by musical artists such as Moby, Depeche Mode and The Knife. The 2005 singles “Mandarine Girl†and “Body Language†went on to become smashing hits that were played extensively in nightclubs around the world. Even if awards and polls don't mean a thing, Booka Shade are hitting # 1 all over the place. USA's XLR8 Magazine list them as one of the best artists of 2006, Resident's Advisor's (dance music magazine) poll list their live act as # 1 of 2006, their album Movements also voted #1 of 2006 and finally, Groove magazine reader's poll listed them as #2 producers of the year.

Booka Shade founded their own record label in 2002 called Get Physical, along with long-time friends DJ T., Patrick Bodmer and Philipp Jung, also known as M.A.N.D.Y. Get Physical records has now become one of the world’s most popular underground dance labels.

Mansion Boston officially opened its doors on February 15, 2007 and has since become one of the hottest and most in-demand nightclubs in the city. The club's objective is to bring Boston’s nightlife to another level of luxury with the utmost attention to service, ambiance and music. The venue’s décor features baroque accents, an oversized fireplace, multiple chandeliers and a massive two story, open dance atrium with wrap-around balcony for ultimate people watching.
