HOME IN NEW YORK?

Home said last year that they planned to

have a presence in Sydney, London and

New York by the end of this year and it looks

like they will!

Darren Hughes, chief big wig at Home, spoke

to Muzik to quash rumors that they were

planning to buy Twilo but said that they

were looking at three venues in New York.

Darren said: "We definitely haven. t bought

Twilo, but we are looking at three separate

clubs in New York at the moment, so

negotiations are ongoing. We. re hoping to

make a decision in the next few months."

The London-based club has apparently

been looking at two clubs and one "unusual

venue".

Meanwhile the Brits invasion of the US

continues with Birmingham superclub God. s

Kitchen launching at The Venetian Hotel in

Las Vegas on November 22. The opening

night - featuring Lisa Lashes and Fergie,

alongside club residents AJ Gibson and

Daniel Soto - is expected to draw 5,000

clubbers. All of this can only be healthy for

the US as dance music has always struggled

to take a foothold in the land of 'rock'.

the ppl behind home put on some awesome parties....like last New Years in Sydney they had the regular club with some UK Dee Jays+locals ( I forget who tongue.gif ) but also put on mobile home on Bondi Beach with Carl Cox...11,000 punters...v professinal and with impeccable connections, it'll be interesting to see where they end up in NYC!

Almost the only place Danny is willing to play outside North America seems to be Home in one of its locales. I'll bet anything if Home opens up in NY Danny will have some kind of spot there. He's the biggest draw by far at Home in London, and he's doing opening and closing parties for Home in Ibiza, the top club there.
