Music faq... please ad commments...

Spoonyd has a pretty accurate description, I agree with pretty much all of it. I'd also mention that techno, trance and house have very different basslines, and in my opinion the bassline is the most accurate way of deciding to which type the song belongs to. Though I don't know how to explain in words what the difference in bassline sound is. And trance and techno usually (not always) have higher bpm's (130-145) than most variations of house (deep, hard, etc., usually up to 130).

Rather then labels I break it down to bangin or funky or cruisey toons..... that covers most of them doesn't it wink.gif
