jersey2coboi
I cant seem to find if any superstar DJ's are playing in the NYC area when I'm home from Christmas break, December 20th to January 13th. I'm looking for a good 18+ club or underground rave to bring my friends to for their first time. I'm looking for someone big like PVD, Armin, Tiesto, Sander Kleinenberg, BT, Benassi, Schulz, Guetta, Bad Boy Bill, Crystal Method, etc....does anyone know of anything thats not posted on here? silverbull
Are you only 18 or are your guests 18? And i guess it depends on if your looking for superstar djs only or great djs in general theres a bit of a difference.Cause i would suggest checking out Sullivan Room on Fri Dec 28th for CHARLES WEBSTER. So many djs have played his remixes and productions over the yrs and not only is he a great producer but hes a great dj.Also on fri jan 4th i would suggest going to check out Pacha for STIMULUS RESPONSE 2YR ANNIVERSARY in the Main Room. It will give you a taste of the next generation of djs coming out of nyc. The Urban Relief Project, Lola, Keith Blackstone will be spinning. For more info on them check out www.myspace.com/stimulusresponsenyc and look at the blog section for live sets/mixes/video clips/pics.And on Sat Jan 5th i would say go to CIELO (which is my fave club in nyc) and hear TEDD PATTERSON. Hes also been around for many yrs and is treated and mobbed like a rock star in italy and japan. Hes my 2nd fave dj in the world. Will keep you update on other names that will be coming down. Also theres so many parties during the week depending on what tpe of crowd and music your into. That you should def try and see/hear lots of different things nyc has to offer. If your into hip hop top 40.mash up celebrity bottle service im not your man and i cant answer those questions.

jersey2coboi
So shit like TOGETHER AS ONE IN LA ON NYE, with Sasha and John Digweed, Deadmau5, Ferry Corsten, etc big shows like that -- not in clubs but more of a rave arena type thing, does NYC ever have shit like that? jersey2coboi
I guess I only get frustrated because Denver is nothing compared to NYC. But over the past 5 months we've had Tiesto, BT, Guetta, Gabriel and Dresden, Armin, Bad Boy Bill, Sander Kleinenberg, Benassi, Eric Prydz, Crystal Method, George Acosta, etc. The last major rave CO Clubs put on had a line up of PVD, Sander, Crystal Method, BT. Now thats a super impressive line-up. Denver seems to be going off right now.

danceshake01
It seems to me more and more super star djs are playing less gigs in NYC....I wonder if it's because the mega clubs are becoming instinct and PachaNYC & Webster hall are not always the favorite choice for many????
