ISRAEL Clubs??

Going to Israel next week with a bunch of friends.. Just wondering where the Hot spots are.

TLV in Tel Aviv is supposed to be the next best thing. (Same owners as the former Allenby 58). Octopus also gets great talent, AND it (as well as Zoom) backs up to the sea. Ha'oman 17 in Jerusalem is a blast, and hosts the occasional 'after party' on mornings after holidays, but be prepared to pay a hefty entry fee if it's one of those parties.... Other popular clubs there are Scene, Layla, & Pacha (< at the old Dolphinarium). Many of the clubs are situated right next to each other in the port at the northern end of T.A. (You will see the crowds and traffic). Lineups are total chaos- be prepared.

Here is some updated venue info for Tel Aviv.

The Zoom is now closed and Octopus now has different promoters and the crowd is way less than desirable, don't bother.

Haoman 17 in Jerusalem still rocks on Thursdays, usually international lineups, just have a look at their posters which are always plastered all over Tel Aviv. Always a huge line on the door, get there early or make sure that you know someone on the door.

The Haoaman's infamous AfterParties finish for the season in the summer, actually the last one is tomorrow morning ... they are done as a collective effort by 3 big promoters, the Haoman team with Yair Shaham and Shirazi. Usually they team up in the summer to do parties by the beach.

TLV is definitely hot ... great lineups, nice crowd though usually packed. Thursdays are the best night.

For stylish more exclusive bars check the Scene and Layla, they will usually hook you up with what is going on in the city that night ... ask the bartenders because they will have the goss!
