Another All Star event. TRUE Magazines 10yr Anniversary! TRUE Magazine has been declared the hottest Independent Hip Hop & Fashion Magazine on the stands for years, through the tough times and the good times in Hip Hop, TRUE Magazine has been there giving our readers food for thought on Independent Hip Hop & Fashion. This April, we now celebrate our 10th year Anniversary with a 3-day weekend of events that will showcase the accomplishments of TRUE Magazine. The first day, Friday, April 17th we are having our ?Official TRUE Magazine Party? with special performances and guest appearances from artists that have been featured in the magazine. It all goes down at Siren Studios on Sunset Blvd, with an open bar til 3 in the morning. Saturday, April 18th we are having an event called ?Elements? showcasing DJs and Rap Battles. At Elements we will take it back to the old school with Battles to see who has the bragging rights to name themselves The King DJ of LA and The King of Freestyles in LA. The King DJ of LA will win the cover of Wheels of Steel a sister magazine that will be coming out this June (Wheels of Steel is about DJ?s, Producers and Electronics). The King of Freestyle in LA will also win the cover of issue 53 in TRUE Magazine to help promote them on their journey to stardom. The last day, April 19th, will be a special invite for all of our VIP attendees to cool down near the pool to relax and mingle with TRUE Magazine?s Fly Girls that have been showcased in the pages of TRUE. Sunday?s event is at an edgy residential design restaurant and lounge features two dining rooms, three lounges and a poolside area with it?s own fire pit. Attending the Pool Party will be 250 high-energy mix of music producers, artists, tastemakers, and VIP attendees.
