ill.Gates is a Toronto-based composer, performer and educator. Over the past 16 years, he has established a global fanbase and a reputation as one of the most dy-namic electronic music artists around. He regularly tours across North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. Gates has headlined at such festivals as Burning Man, Shambala, the World Electronic Music Festival and the New Orleans Jazz Festival. His first full-length release, Autopirate (Muti Music, 2008) charted and continues to sell strongly. His upcoming triple album The ill.Methodology and accompa-nying online course are highly anticipated. Gates was re-cently selected as one of the Next 100 by URB Magazine. Many of his contemporaries cite ill.Gates as a key artistic influence and inspiration in their music. While on tour, Gates frequently teaches workshops to grateful and attentive audiences, in which he shares his highly effective approach to producing quality finished music as well as in- sights into the mentality and strategies necessary to succeed in the music business. Stephan Jacobs is widely considered to be among the most promising producers currently coming out of the West Coast bass music scene. As an original member of the Headtron crew, Jacobs is known for his speaker-shaking original productions and heavyweight remixes. He also has a keen ear for melody and meticulously sequences his signature live sets to take listeners on a true sonic journey. Constantly creating new music, Jacobs actively maintains several different production aliases that stem from his diverse musical influences. He’s also no stranger to creative collaborations, having most recently paired with friend and fellow producer Nit Grit to form the West Coast crunk supergroup, Pizza Party. By always striving to push his productions in exciting new directions, Jacobs continues to expand his fanbase with bruising beats and dirty basslines, which are the perfect weapons for dance floor devastation. Though only a teenager with the prospect of extraordinary success to come, the future is now for St. Louis, Missouri's Jay Fay. Rarely can someone under the age of 21 say that they've spent half of their life in music, and even rarer than that, have shared stages with the likes of Drake, Steve Aoki, Rusko, Mount Kimbie, Big K.R.I.T, Wale, and Big Sean. A humble creator, Jay Fay's expansive imagination propels his whimsical takes on the sonic universe. He represents the sound of the present and in many circles is considered THE rising face of the future. A drummer since the age of nine, the producer/DJ has experience as a mash-up wizard and an interest in bass heavy underground styles of the moment including indie hip-hop, dancehall and African kuduro makes him a prime candidate for moombahtonista stardom. Approval has been fast and furious from fellow rising global superstars, Dillon Francis, BBC Radio 1 presenter Toddla T and moombahton inventor Dave Nada amongst a growing list of those in full support.
