Following a series of collaborative sell out shows, original production work and a joint mix compilation together world renowned DJs John 00 Fleming (UK) and Christopher Lawrence (USA) have officially joined forces under the moniker Fleming & Lawrence. It's clear EDM has become more commercialised and, with this, it's more important than ever to offer audiences a choice in the form of specialized music. Not every music fan wants to hear the same hits played over and over. There's a segment of the market whose musical needs are not being met, plus a new generation of clubbers who are waiting to be exposed to deeper sounds. In response to this, Fleming & Lawrence have launched a UDM (Underground Dance Music) tour; they are creating an underground vibe at smaller venues or within commercial clubs. We're already seeing this trend of specialized underground nights happening on the international club circuit with John 00 Fleming's 'J00F Editions' tour playing to packed houses worldwide. Fleming & Lawrence's focus is playing extended 4-8 hours sets that enable the pair to build a slow groove and take the audience on a musical journey. The duo's sound has been described as 'progressive house on steroids' and the vibe created is reminiscent of Sasha and Digweed. House lights are minimized with no go-go dancers on stage to further enhance an underground mood. There's a magic created when these two legendary DJs play together that is blowing away new and old fans alike. Both the DJ's radio stations are tuned into by the masses; John recently celebrated his show 'Global Trance Grooves' 10 year anniversary with a 12 hour show indicating the huge success of the radio show. Christopher also recently celebrated the five year anniversary of his radio show 'Rush Hour' which has become one of the fastest growing and most popular dance music shows on the planet. Fleming & Lawrence have headlined together at Ministry of Sound and Turnmills in London, Guvernment in Toronto, Avalon and Vanguard in Los Angeles, Godskitchen in Birmingham Uk, Foundation in Seattle, Soundbar in Chicago, Mekka in Miami, On Broadway in San Diego and J00F Editions in Brighton. They have appeared together at festivals including Dance Valley in the Netherlands, Global Gathering in the UK, Electric Daisy Carnival, Nocturnal Wonderland and Wet Electric in the USA, Boonstock Festival in Canada, and Coma Festival in Beirut.
