Guest shannon_coolj.
I think its a matter of maturity sometimes. Years ago, when I started going to raves (this was back when it was underground!) I didn't party sober, ever. Those were great days...but as my love for the music grew, I had a passion for it, sober or not. Sure its nice to have a couple of drinks when I go out or even, rarely do "other" things...but its not very often. I can go to a club and have so much fun without anything now. And I think most people who have been in this scene long enough will tell you the same thing. That's what upsets me about those 20/20 and Dateline reports about the club scene. Not everyone is like those people they videotape rolling around on the ground with their jaw grinding and eyes rolling back in their heads! TufTribe
Yeah, I like partying sober once in a while! The only reason I go to clubs in the first place is for the music. I can enjoy the music whether Im sober or not. The only problem with being sober is that its harder to last all night, unless you are drinking Red Bull.....but that might not be considered sober.I think the most important thing is to party smart! If you dont want to party sober, then at least stay in control and dont overdue it. ;D
