Guest eKiTeL Posted May 13 Report Share Posted May 13 how about something in between? something deep and groovy, but without all the smooth jazz horn solos, and pretentious "world rhythms".... frankly that stuff puts me to sleep... and the usual hard tribal is just so simplistic, it's good for the kids, they're catching on to house at least, but what about the rest of us, who want to get our groove on, without feeling drowsy, and without getting hit over the head with a double sticked bongo atttack? I for one think electronic music should be just that: ELECTRONIC, and I remember the days before it was segregated into so many sub-genres, when house, techno, electro and hip-hop all flowed into and out of each other...I'm a new dj on the scene working on a distinctive blend of tech-house, electro-house, retro-techno, 80's remixes (the less obvious ones) and even a little hip/bootie-house thrown in.... if this idea sounds interesting then check out my website THCmiami.com and listen to some of my mixesor you can hear the latest one by clicking this: http://thcmiami.com/audio/ekitel11.ram Peace!
