Guest trancepriest
http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/06/29/pentagon.reserves/index.htmlWow I'm so happy my inactive duty commitment is over with. For those of you that don't know when a person gets discharged from the military with less than 8 years of active duty service they still have about 3-4 years of inactive duty commitment. You don't have to report for training like active reservist. But you have to keep the military informed of your contact information.

Guest endymion
[Pentagon officials] have echoed that view. They admit that the military is reaching deep into its resources but say that war planners have long had contingency plans for such a call-up when troops are needed.Nice of them to tell the American people that a draft was always in the plans.
