Everyone said GreenDay sold out too - i think thats gheyyyyyyy... they are amazing.

I respect Lenny Kravitz mainly because he plays all his own instruments when making an album. He writes the music (all though he has done a few cover songs) and he plays the drums, guitars and whatever else. He doesn't go in the studio and have a song written for him and a band playing.. he does it all on his own. "Are you gonna go my way" was my fave album so far.

I totally agree thats what I love about him, his music is very original, and of course the sex appeal just oozes off of him

Perfect example Apotheosis. A band like Tool have never sold-out and I'm willing to bet that they never will. It will be a cold day in hell if you ever hear a Tool song being used to sell a product or in a commercial. There is a way to stay true to your art and still make a good living. Look at bands like Jane's Addiction, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam and Tool.

glad you caught it. yeah tool is my favorite band. but you interpreted the song incorrectly, i think. "selling out" is a bullshit concept. "and you can point that fucking finger up your ass"
