Mixmaster or Funky Junction started his career in Brooklyn with a diversity of psychedelic styles, thus laying the foundation for the New York underground. Since 1979 he was involved with music, combining his knowledge of cutting edge New York dance club music with his own fresh style, Costantino became well known in New York clubs such as Plato’s, Limelight, Danceteria, and the Tunnel. He became since than, one of the originators of the House music movement. Throughout the years his musical style has often changed, and he has gone from being one of the first hard house DJ of New York to one of the few people that have taught the World club scene true soul. Matured though his many experiences in and outside New York, Costantino now spins with global glitz, mixing kicking back and Latin grooves with uplifting garage, tribal, hard house, progressive and the deepest of deep house. Since 1980 Costantino has gained international recognition and his guest appearances have taken him to Spain (Ibiza – Palma de Majorca), Portugal, (Lisbon) Mexico, Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany and Belgium.
