Guest web_norah Posted March 10 Report Share Posted March 10 Recent Grammy nominees and radio show hosts (Community Service, Friday nights on Indie 103.1) The Crystal Method have announced details of their new mix album Community Service II.Slated for release April 5 on Ultra Records/3AM, the album is the second in The Crystal Method’s Community Service mix series. The mix albums, together with the Method’s Friday night radio show and national DJ tour, comprise the Community Service brand that the break-beat duo have developed to promote fresh musical talent.Community Service II includes original tracks by The Crystal Method, remixes of The Doors’ “Roadhouse Bluesâ€, New Order’s “Bizarre Love Triangleâ€, Smashing Pumpkins’ “1979â€, and tracks from other big beat artists Hyper, UNKLE and Uberzone.A national tour will happen in support of the album, with confirmed dates from Hawaii to New York. The Crystal Method will make stops at major clubs all across the country, and play electronic events like the ULTRA Music Festival in Miami March 26, Mezzanine in San Francisco April 14, and Spirit in NYC May 14. More dates to be announced later.The Crystal Method will tape their radio show live in Miami in conjunction with the Winter Music Conference in order to feature on-the-spot interviews with participating artist.The track list for Community Service II is as follows…1.
