StickwichA2. LS11B1. ModenaB2. SlimlinePromo Feedback, Reviews and Support:Excellent EP. The four tracks are pure dope! Stickwich is my favourite 9/10- David Duriez (Brique Rouge, Paris)Loving the two inside cuts 8/10-Doc Martin (Westbound Music, Sublevel LA)Some very groovy moments on this EP. Stickwich is probably the one here.-Rob Mello (Classic)Brilliant four trax from the diverse lo rez outfit! wicked stuff! 8/10-Murray Richardson (Rebel Waltz, 20 20, Low Pressings)Really feeling Slimline, great f*&cking track. Been getting great floor response. Will be traveling with me to Miami for sure.-Jonene (Stompy, Panhandle, Safe in Sound)This record rocks! I love the early 90's feel...Lo/Rez at their finest. 10/10! - Spettro (So Sound, Doubledown etc)Dig the new Lo\rez record a lot. Funny story is that I just got this CD with the music from old Comodore 64 games on it. There's a bit of relation, but the record has more funk and rump to it for sure. Really good stuff. - Nick Maurer (Greenskeepers Music)Interesting work from Lo Rez, i am appreciating their way of approaching house, my fav is Slimline-Raoul Belmans (Swirl People, Aroma Records)Digging the Lo/Rez 12" quite a bit ... Sounding right about where my head's at for the mo ... A1 + B2 are doing it the most for me but all are quite appealing and dancefloor-worthy. Makes me wanna shake my feet in the air. Will chart. (8 / 10) - Q-Burns Abstract Message (Eighth Dimension)Thanks for the promo, sounds really nice. Will definitely be getting many plays from me!-Simon Newby (Da Sunlounge, Myna Music)Another solid record, I got stickwich on CDR a long while ago from Jay Tripwire and have been playing it ever since, going to hammer the vinyl too!-Mazi (Audio Soul Project, Chicago)London based producers Willis and Hodge first appeared on Tak Records back in 2001 and now they find their musical way onto Manchester’s Flat & Round imprint. Opening with ‘Stickwich’ is makes a bee-line for the dance floor, with strutting beats and some very nice electronic bleeps and beeps. Sort of old warehouse techno meets cool house, pump it up and take yourself back to the glory days of house parties. ‘LS11’ is a lot darker, dropping the tempo a notch, but maintaining the old-skool vibe. Add some pitch to the track and it’s even better. ‘Modena’ features a solid kick drum and not much else until mid-way when some vocal samples and some almost acid touches help build the track. Finally comes, ‘Slimline’ another stripped back, electro-funk house track, with a phat bassline and some wakka wah effects creating another cool floor filler- Richie Hartness (Untitledmusic.co.uk)
