AndrewChibale Posted April 24 Report Share Posted April 24 12a to 8aofficial "pump up the jam" count = 3Huge thanks to the always friendly space staff for taking care of "us' .... no line, no waiting, no drama inside @ around 1am Cedric was on the decks, place was crowded but not as much as usual, music was good (locals never dissapoint), some new Steve Angello tracks here and there, i think i havent seen EddyG having so much fun (thanks alot for the hook ups) ..after a couple of hours though people were wondering "where the hell is Sander ?" it was 4am and mr "K" was nowhere to be found .. who knows what was the drama ... some peeps were even saying "omg Sander spins great!" while Cedric was still on the decks << thats how lost the crowd was but hey, they were all having fun, even Ryan said "i think i like this track"Once Sander came on @ around 4:25a the vibe completely changed ...im not gonna say the music was horrible (cause it wasnt) but it wasnt definetely top notch at all, only by judging the people that usually dance in front of the booth (these peeps that are always there jumping and spilling their drinks while at it) ... you could tell that the music was ... lets say "very confusing" .. at some points the crowd was more on a "chill" mode than anything elsei heard some "Mr Roboto" remix which was great ... and from there on some more "80's" were played, i also heard "SHARAM JEY & NICK K - Shaka" @ like 132bpm <<< very interesting :..6am ... upstairs ... and it only took 5 min for the patio to be crowded .... the staff @ space in full effect taking care of the Cedric stalker ...again, and although some tracks were already played downstairs, the vibe was great .... this time, space fans were really having fun ... Sander got on later this morning and again i was just not feeling it ... having a place like the "patio" filled to the top doesnt mean a good party, music was very ok ....i understand SK draws a lot of fans but lets not forget this is not the only "big" dj out there .. i think Space should definetely book Erick Morillo & Josh Wink more often .. and give it a twistby the time i left, some cj peeps were just getting there .. how was the rest of the morning ? and did u enjoy being attacked by the space toes ... lolps. I got there around 4:15am. At times, his set was rockin', but then it would mellow out a bit. The KLF - What Time is Love after Pump up the Jam was a surprise. I enjoyed the patio more even though we cut out early. I took my brother-in-law there for his bachelor party wrap-up, and he was broken by 8:30am (after 13 hours of partying, it was the Assassin that finally did him in) so we took off. I saw some random girl approach Ivano and ask him to play the world is mine, which he politely responded "ok" to, and threw it down the very next track. Got there as Andrew was leaving not looking too impressed but this is why I love the patio, most dj's play better out there. Of course as always the wonderful Kirk took care of me :-* you're the best! Went straight upstairs and as i walk in pump up the jam was playing. Ok when I first heard this I loved it but i'm losing interest because i'm hearing it way too often. Great to see the crew out. Assassin as usual doing his thing behind the bar Thank you hon.Other then pump up the jam Sander was playing some stuff that I don't hear everyone playing, it was nice to hear new songs. Dont ask me to mention any though, alot of 80s remixing. Pornstar and I had a blast doing the Sander dance and the flamingo, lol.Had a great time. My favorite part was when Ivano was on and he played a remix of the song I have been obsessed with this week. Hollaback girl!!! I loved it, if anyone has this please send to me. Alki thanks for getting me for that one :-*Ended up staying really late because I was way to drunk to drive anywhere, lol. Overall a great time.
