Guest coach
Sunny, have you been stalking us? Sunny is exactly right, those are the best places on Lincoln. Also, Oh Mexico, the Italian place, and the little tiny French place on Espanola are great. And Finnegans on Ocean is also good and surpisingly affordable. For late night food (after the clubs close) 11th Street Diner on Washington is great.Sebastian, I think we're gonna have to take you guys out and show you around, there is a lot of good affordable food on SoBe. If you haven't tried La Sandwicherie on 14th you are definitely missing out. But it is not really a "date" place, unless you have the coolest date ever. Guest pod
Nexxt and Van Dyke are about all I'd bother to go to. Everything else is overpriced garbage.

Everything else is overpriced garbage.exactly, most of these places put more time into how the food looks than how it tastes. I'll take Outback Steak House over any South Beach restaurant any day. Guest Devilicious
Hey you cant forget San Loco for mexican and the little sandwiche spot right next door... 14th between Washington and CollinsThese are 2 of my very favorite spots! The sandwich spot is La Sandwicherie, and it's absolutley the BEST sandwiches and salads on the beach. And both are open practically all night.Personally I think Van Dyke is overpriced for what it is. Nexxt isn't cheap but the portions are huge. Big Pink on 3rd and Collins (i think) is good too. The diner on 11th never fails. There's a place on Alton just south of the movie theatre called Piola. It's nice, and very reasonable. They have lots of pizza but the pasta and gnocchi is great and around 10 bux, a steal for the beach.Lime is an awesome Mexican grill on Alton around 14th, casual but very tasty food and cheap. Guest Devilicious
Don't forget Texas Taco. 8)Noooooooooo, Lime is SOOO much better Also I forgot Novecento, an Argentinian place on Alton and 11th (nice atmosphere, good date spot, reasonable, good food)And the happy hour you might be reffering to is at Doraku on Fridays from 6-8. Complimentary apps (sushi, tuna, fruit, chicken...) and 2 for 1 cocktails. It's just west of the movie theatre on Lincoln

That is El Rancho Grande. The one right across from Cafeteria. Every time we've been there, it's been really good.

I did forget to mention one place which Kathleen and I ate at a couple of weeks ago called Michael Collins. That place is pretty good and reasonably priced too. A little bit off the beat and path of Lincoln rd but I guess thats why I like it.

Guest vegasguy25
Also, Oh Mexico, the Italian place, and the little tiny French place on Espanola are great. The Italian joint is Hosteria Romana, at 429 Espanola Way, around the corner from Crobar. It's excellent; you won't be disappointed.
