Guest LeVeL Posted March 29 Report Share Posted March 29 This wasn't no surprise, conference was definetely extended this year but alot of people came to party only for 1 week not for 2 weeks.I knew once Monday came around the crowds would start dieing out since a lot of outof towners had to go back home.One thing I would like to say is that the Saturday Parties this year were the weakest of all the days during conference. Alot of the better parties happened on Wednesday,Thursday, and Friday of last week. Monday and Tuesday of this week had good parties too but if they were moved to saturdays then alot of these parties would of made more moneythan doing it on a weekday. If this was the way, you'd all have a better wmc/mmc.Also I'd like to see the city cap cover charge prices based upon fire capacity... The city is not a good host if they allow clubs to rape those who got on a plane and flew here from some far away place. I'm not one for socialism, I'm a econ major and belive in free markets, but capping cover charges would spread big talent around to more clubs... I left around 2am and the crowd was pretty thin and barely anyone was dacing. Also, I walked by Blue around 12:30am and the Dean Coleman party seemed pretty dead as well.WTF happened to conference this year?! It seems like everyone left after the weekened this year. Guest pod Posted March 29 Report Share Posted March 29 A lot of it has to do with the fact that a lot of the tourists and such wanted to end their vacations on a convenient day like Sunday. On the same not both locals and tourists could probably only get certain days off and it ended on that Sunday.
