Hey Adam, since you're so good at building this stuff, how are your soldering skills? I may need some help on that front for an overclocking project.

to O/C an AMD chip i would recommend simply a high quality heatsink compound with an aftermarket cooling system, there's not really a need to solder anything...

with that said what specifically were your plans?

On a Mac logic board if I'm not mistaken, the jumpers that lock in your processor's frequency are soldered.

Hence, you need to be handy with a soldering iron to do any sort of frequency change.

on the new AMD systems no soldering is neccesary to overclock - it is all done in the system bios...so easy to set your multipliers its rediculous...my system is a 2.0 AMD running at 2.4 without any issues

ive considered pushing it faster but its so fast the way it is there's no need
