Guest Adam Singer
windows sucks only because you make it suckhonestly if you re-work the registry, tweak the bios, and play with the overall settings it can run pretty bloody stable...i havent had my DAW crash in the middle of a recording or composing session...yes i know that sounds like alot of work, but really it isnt, and the audio plugins i use are simply not available on mac, otherwise i might consider using it...btw, mac OS is hardly the best/most stable on the planet, ive seen it crash many times - go use Linux if you want the BEST o/s... The tools that I have on a brand new Mac OS X computer a PC simple doesn't have at the same quality. The OS is not as easy to use too. Guest macboy
This is only available through the education store, so unless you're in school, you can forget about it. Given that it lacks bluetooth and the remote, and has integrated graphics, I'd recommend something else anyway. I'd go with the Macbook. If you love something so much why change? Well one good reason is that Apple computers are becoming more and more the standard in mulitmedia. If you say want to work with an Artist in Europe for example where Logic is the standard in prodcution and recording studio's over there then how can you guys share files? A friend of mine used to work on a PC. She does a lot of collaberations with people who use Apple computers and Logic for making music. She used Cubase on her PC. She would have to have people bounce audio stems down and then she would have to import them and re-sequence them etc, etc... Instead of one person just uploading the file on sendspace and then her opening it up without having to import any audio stems and resequencing them. Well she canned her PC and bought a Quad last month and now her work flow is 100x's easier. Plus I haven't heard her complain about computer recently which is also a blessing thank god... I guess for you if the people yo umanily work with use PCs and PC programs then you should stick with using a PC..

Guest pod
The result of her having to "import" her files is bad coding on the part of Logic and Cubase. Interoperability is needed. For a trivial example, if someone emails me a file from Word on a Mac, I can open it no problem.
Guest swirlundergrounder
jobs is way too much of a hipster anyway, id rather use a product made by nerds You see that go's against everything that it seems you stand for Adam. I thought you stood for being different and ahead of the curve. That's why it would make more sense to me that you would gravitate towards a product that was only used by 10% of the market out there..
