I was gonna do a separate thread for each part of town, but I think it'll be easier as all one.

Please do your ONE favorite place in each part of town (if you have one).

Add new parts of town as you like.

And by "favorite", I don't mean ritziest or absolute best food or whatever, I mean, what place to you really like to go for whatever reason?

For clarity's sake, let's keep this to Dade county, then we can start new threads for Broward and Palm Beach.

I'll start.

South Beach - Nexxt, hands down.

Mid Beach - Aquatica at Eden Roc. Decent prices and a view of the ocean.

Little Haiti/Biscayne - Soyka. Good food, good prices, great staff.

Coral Gable - Il Gastronomie - spelling may be a bit off, but it literally is the best Italian I've ever had. Cute, cute little place a couple of blocks off of Miracle Mile.

Kendall - On The Border. Yeah, I know, a chain. But it has the best salsa.

Remember, keep it to one place per area, and try to keep the "oh yeah, I love/hate that place" comments down. I'd like to keep this as uncluttered as possible. Feel free to add more commentary to your choices than I have.

Hey Coach, I hate to break it to ya, but I think this restaurant was featured on Channel 10's Dirty Dining. :-X

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!

how can you not mention any restaurants in Brickell, best place to eat IMO. Here's my list:

Brickell - Perricones, Archies, Tabaco Road

South Beach - Yummi, Yokos, Van Dykes

Coral Gables - Rincon, Houstons

Sweet Water - Texas of Brazil (for all the meat lovers)
