Guest Slide On The Ice
I'm surprised North Carolina isn't on that list. The homes I've seen in NC are twice as big as homes here and half the price. It's amazing. I've looked up 4 and 5 bedroom homes for the price of 2 and 3 bedroom homes down here. That's why my cousin is planning to move there in a few months, and I'm considering it as well. Guest HouseJunkie
You can get a doublewide in Fort Lauderdale for under $120,000, that's affordable.

Compared to Florida, Carolina is very affordable....but not the MOST affordable in the country. Look at half the places on that list. Supply and demand...would you really want to live in North Dakota? Montana? Kansas? Those are some of least desirable places to live in the country, so its no wonder they're the most affordable. If they weren't priced that low, nobody would buy there....might as well live by the coast.
