CrzyC1414779017
copy VCR movies to DVD? I got a DVD/VCR recorder for Cmas and I cant copy any of my old VHS movies to DVD since they are copyrighted. I know back in the old school days of audio tapes you could just put a piece of tape over the tab on your audio tape and you could dub it to another, but Im not sure if the same rule applies with DVDs.Anybody have any suggestions? Guest macboy
Depending on how old they are, you may not want to do that. The tape may have degraded and the picture quality will be somewhat poor. Are the movies unavailable on DVD?I remember some VHS tapes sent out a signal if you tried to copy it so that the picture and/or sound would distort. Not sure how to get around that.
