mugwump Posted March 11 Report Share Posted March 11 Hey guys..I know this is an on going feet but I found the DOPEST lounge for a possible Sex board meeting. The only problem is that it's in Astoria queens but it's totaly chill. It's called BAR CAFE and it's on 34th street and..I forget the avenue. But it's right in front of Kaufman Studios and the Museum of moving Image. It's actually right off the N line on 36th ave. (10 minutes from the city!)Last night I hung out there with my GF and some friends. The music's great (They where BLASTING Deep dish's Ibisa Cd and Oakenfold,Timo mass, PVD) It's run by some realy cool guys that are like DJs I think and it's very dimly lit with lots of couches and awesome decore (think Yafa cafe meets Liquids) In any case they serve food as well as drinks and they didn't ID anyone in our group. what do you guys think? Possible venue for a Sex board hook up? If anyone is interested PM me and I'll post the correct address. I think the drinks would help loosen every one up and..hey you never know what comes after. But it was only a sudjestion. I was just sitting there last night totaly digging the music and the vibe and I was like "hey..the club planet huys would dig this." But like I said..it's just a thought. AwweeLipz..if you cant go then forget it! Your the life of the boards. Manhatten it is! (but if youre ever in Astoria on a late night check it out. I was sipping on a martini as Oakie's version of Silence blasted on the system and the whole place started to sing along. I thought,,"shit!! Why dosen't this ever happen at a Lounge at the city when I go!" Plus they have a computer in the back room next to a huge fish tank which I turned some headz on to the board.
