1325 dammit..... JMT ur a nerd lol

don't let my dashing good looks and chiseled physique fool you.

i had to dust some cobwebs off my brain for this one, however my knowledge of video games stops at nintendo 64 (circa 1998).

SNES was the best system ever.. so u played the best games..

only games i would say recently that is at the level of old skool games is stuff like

elder scrolls IV oblivion(just an amazing grand scale of a game) --though old games obviously were not this large. it has the same wow factor as lets say playing zelda for the first time(well almost ;)

imho, the 10 greatest games of all time (i think i still have all 3 nintendo machines stashed away somewhere)...

1. frogger - colecovision - the cars, the music, the fly. a classic.

2. mario kart (original) - SNES - more fun than any other racing game ever.

3. goldeneye - N64 - best battle mode ever created.

4. contra - NES - great game, and the cheat code made it classic.

5. gunsmoke - NES - a personal favorite.

6. zelda (original) - NES - the gold standard for all games like it.

7. mike tyson's punch out - NES - tyson struck more fear into you through the tv screen than any other game.

8. star fox - N64 - best aerial battle mode ever.

9. madden 64 - N64 - the perfect balance of seriousness and cheap moves. every edition before was too cheesy, every one after was too realistic.

10. golf - NES - golf doesn't get any simpler or more competitive.

Wow...that brought back some memories. F*cking Rush N' Attack....oh man. That game was huge. Nice thread. I can't remember what system we played it on....but Tecmo Bowl was really big for us.
